I am originally from Kingston, R.I.,and came to Boulder in 1992. I attended Oberlin College in Ohio, played Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse and studied Anthropology before transferring to University of Colorado Boulder to study Exercise Physiology and Applied Kinesiology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. 

I currently live in Lafayette with my husband, Ben, a firefighter/paramedic with a love for adventure, my 9 year old daughter, Madeline, an ice hockey playing super studious tom-boy, and my 4 year old son Charlie, a wild and crazy, non-stop uber-athlete. I really have to stay on my toes at work and at home!

I am passionate about my family, trail running, yoga, camping , reading and laughing heartily. I really love to learn new things and I find that when something combines a mental effort with a physical challenge, it’s really exciting to me.
